Tudor Portraiture by Holbein.

I was watching BBC One's, The One Show the other day and saw a feature on Hans Holbein. It reminded me how much I love his paintings. He is famous for painting true to life portraits, particuliary of prospective wives for King Henry VIII. I love his attention to detail in his paintings, of textiles, embroidery and pattern in clothes and intricacy in jewellery.
